Federal Taxes and the Small Business Owner

This workshop will cover the types of Federal taxes that a business in Washington may be required to pay, the types of Federal taxes that a small business owner may be required to pay, and how to report and pay those taxes. We will discuss self-employment tax, personal income tax, and payroll taxes, including Social Security, Medicare and Federal Unemployment. The presentation will also include guidance on how to estimate and budget for Federal taxes as well as the different options available for paying taxes and remaining compliant.

He helps businesses become more effective and efficient while complying with governmental requirements. Previously, Gary worked as a Tax CPA focused on small businesses. He has also been an auditor for the international accounting firm of Arthur Andersen, a senior finance and operations manager at AWS, Microsoft, Oracle, and VMware, and a CFO/COO. Today he is a management consultant and small business owner.
